Route description

The ride from Yangshuo to Xingping follows a mostly paved country road eastward through villages and farmland. About halfway, you pass Fuli Town, known for traditional fan painting and a quieter old street. The road then continues toward Xingping, where the famous 20 RMB viewpoint overlooks the Li River.

For pedal cyclists, the round trip is a solid day out. For e-bike riders, choose a bike with a strong battery and confirm the range before leaving. Some rental shops in Yangshuo allow you to leave the bike in Xingping and return by bus, though this must be arranged in advance.
